Shakumbhri

Shakumbhri, meaning the abode of Shakti Goddess Shakambhari or Shakumbhri, is situated in the Jasmour village area, at a distance of 40 km to the north of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh state of Northern India. It has two important temples of Hindu: one of the Goddess (Devi) Shakumbhri herself and another one, Bhura-Dev temple, located one kilometer away from it to the east, of the deity Bhairava, considered to be her guard.

Rajaji National Park

Rajaji National Park is an Indian national park & Tiger Reserve that encompasses the Shivaliks, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It is spread over 820 km and three districts of Uttarakhand: Haridwar, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal. In 1983, three wildlife sanctuaries in the area namely, Chilla, Motichur and Rajaji sanctuaries were merged into one.

Jolly Grant Airport

Jolly Grant Airport, also known as Dehradun Airport, is a domestic airport located about 22 km (12 nmi; 14 mi) southeast of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Nestled in the foothills of theHimalayas, the airport resumed commercial operations on 30 March 2008 after a runway extension to accommodate larger aircraft. A new terminal building was inaugurated in February 2009. Located 20 km (12 mi) from Rishikesh, and 30 km (19 mi) from Haridwar, the airport allows easy access to the region. It is approximately a 20 minutes drive to Rishikesh and 45 minutes to Haridwar and Dehradun.
