AIRPORT CITY 1

JAWAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT- Airport City is situated near to the Jewar international Airport. The timeline for proposed Jewar airport – which will be the second airport in the National Capital Region – has been advanced with the foundation stone now expected to be laid by October this year, against the earlier aim of December. The Centre has formed a Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee to expedite the completion of the airport.

In January, Civil Aviation Secretary R N Choubey had said that the the first flight from Jewar could take off as early as December 2021 and the bids from airport operators to develop the project were expected to be out by August or September this year. The second airport in NCR could help ease some pressure on the existing Delhi airport, which currently handles 60 million passengers every year.

MATHURA - The town stands on the original forest of Vrindavana where the Hindu deity Krishna spent his childhood, on the banks of the Yamuna river. Numerous events are said to have occurred here: this is where Krishna did the divine dance with Gopis (Maharaas), spread the message of divine love with his lover Radha, stole the clothes of the bathing cowgirl maidens (gopis), and vanquished various demons. Consequently, it is a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus, and features by some counts as many as 5000 temples.

YAMUNA EXPRESSWAY - Yamuna Expressway stretching 165 kms. connects international tourist destinations of Delhi and Agra. Yamuna Expressway, a 6-lane (extendable to 8 lane) access controlled Expressway, is planned to have 5 LFDs (Land of concessionaire) with facilities of 4 Toll Plazas, and 6 Interchanges along the entire length.

NEARBY CITIES- GREATER NOIDA - Greater Noida Industrial Area is located at the intersection of the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors and is also the gateway to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). It lies within the National Capital Region of India’s capital - New Delhi and is adjacent to Noida, one of the largest industrial townships in Asia.
